Today is Jan 2nd.

The programme tells us it is Jan 1st - we have to make allowances , after all it is American !!!!!!!
But, we are here and it is Jan 2nd. Surely it is adjustable , I have so much to learn and the date correction is down the list a bit. Perhaps tomorrow ...................?

Being at the Bach means Beach Walks.
Beach Walks mean seeing the harsh side of nature
December only presented us with five fine days - relentless North easterly winds - up to three metre swells and big disturbed surf.
The seabirds suffer - they cannot feed properly - they cannot rest - sadly some lose the ability to survive - they die - their bodies wash ashore with every tide and become food for the scavengers.

Nature rules or is it the Rules of Nature.

One walk we counted 17 little Blue Penquins -

There is no Media here - no " Rena " - no oil washing ashore - just Nature.

Quite sad but reality ........................................
